If you're just going to surf the web, it's overpriced, but text does look great on the screen. Just wondering if my laptop specs are good enough to run it smoothly Or will I experience some choppy gameplay.

Maybe that's because it's been pretty cold and I have yet to wear shorts while using it!For anyone who needs a powerful machine, this is for you. It can and does get hot, but it's not been uncomfortable yet. The first cycle wasn't great and I thought it might actually be a problem, but a few more cycles and it has really started to give me close to, if not exceeding, the suggested battery life.It's so much quiter than previous MacBooks, much of this is surely down to the SSD and the CPU.

Failing that, you can download apps to customise the resolution.This Mac is fast, and combined with Mavericks I am now getting some great battery life. Obviously, the more space you require, the smaller things are, but luckily there is an easy to use scale that will help you to get the resolution that's right for you.
